Detailed information about soil moisture deficit

This value is calculated as the Soil moisture value for a given day (+/-10 day window, i.e., 21 days) minus the value of the 50th percentile derived from the reference period. The final values are represented in units of mm as the surplus or deficient height of the water column. The meteorological weather forecast data are stereamlined from Integrated Weather Forecast (IFS) by European Center for Medium-range Weather Forecast (ECMWF).
