Soil moisture represents the actual modeled soil moisture content (based on SoilClim water balance model) expressed as the percentage of the plant available water, i.e. the volume of water between the field capacity and the wilting point.

Detailed information about relative soil saturation

The values of the indicator range form 0% (wilting point) to 100% (field capacity). The meteorological weather forecast data are derived from Integrated Weather Forecast (IFS) by European Center for Medium-range Weather Forecast (ECMWF).
